Here&#8217;s hoping it worked! Or at least moreso than we experienced with the recording that we did a couple of weeks ago that was A TAD TOO GLITCHY for use, even with some artful editing&#8230; NOTE TO SELF: MUST GET BETTER AT EDITING&#8230;  or obtain Internet less prone to GLITCHINESS&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ANYWAYS&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/analogue-trope.ca\/podcast\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/orson-welles-chimes-at-midnight.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-845\" style=\"width:839px;height:472px\" width=\"839\" height=\"472\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apart from whatever was spoken to in the recording, I&#8217;ll just add a bit here&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;d like to take a moment here to say farewell to my colleague and friend Dr. Kathlyn Bradshaw. I can&#8217;t imagine the Ed.D experience without her friendship and support. It was one of those cases of immediate, lightning friendship. We drank some beer. We wrote short stories and gave each other feedback. We collaborated on an aborted science fiction novel. We reviewed each other&#8217;s written work throughout the program, and after&#8230; and we had at times pretty frequent Skype conversations. We actually managed to present on a panel together about MOOCs in Anaheim, California. I just can&#8217;t say enough great things about my friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is a link to her doctoral thesis: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/prism.ucalgary.ca\/items\/d56c15b4-db37-44ae-b892-3007f7459ced\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/prism.ucalgary.ca\/items\/d56c15b4-db37-44ae-b892-3007f7459ced\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Boundary Crossing and MOOC Design<\/a><\/em> (2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She co-wrote with her University of Calgary Supervisors&#8230; including in <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/cjlt.ca\/index.php\/cjlt\/article\/view\/28116\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/cjlt.ca\/index.php\/cjlt\/article\/view\/28116\" target=\"_blank\">the Canadian Journal of Learning and Technology<\/a><\/em>&#8230; she also did<em><a href=\"https:\/\/eric.ed.gov\/?id=EJ1142555\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/eric.ed.gov\/?id=EJ1142555\"> practical, teaching-based writing<\/a><\/em> from the college classroom&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AND she wrote an amazing literary novel called <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cormorantbooks.com\/the-frankenstein-murders\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.cormorantbooks.com\/the-frankenstein-murders\" target=\"_blank\">The Frankenstein Murders<\/a><\/em>&#8230; among many other accomplishments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ANYWAY&#8230; that was the Streamyard experience! Hopefully that will solve the glitching which has plagued the last couple of episodes.
