It is really good to see you! Many thanks to Doug for his patience&#8230; and for the topic!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As much as I&#8217;m feeling on the other side of <em>something significant <\/em>since the last episode&#8230; I&#8217;m going to refrain from saying too much else&#8230; since the whole way I look at and experience the world feels majorly different than the last time I sat down to this&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are lots of excellent Community of Inquiry resources out there&#8230; obviously I&#8217;m very attached to the CoI because it informed a major portion of <a href=\"https:\/\/prism.ucalgary.ca\/handle\/11023\/4150\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">my doctoral thesis<\/a>&#8230; which, for better or for worse, has driven me and my family to places we would never have experienced otherwise&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Professional, personal, geographic, and learning places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are all Kamloopsians now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"390\" height=\"220\" src=\"http:\/\/analogue-trope.ca\/podcast\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/mardi-gras-party-1.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-560\" style=\"width:672px;height:379px\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">It takes a community&#8230; to party like this! #ednontech<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Doug&#8217;s Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>CoI Framework &#8211; Communities of Inquiry<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The genesis of this framework can be found in the work of John Dewey and is consistent with constructivist approaches to learning in higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"599\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/EnGvjWBg7pAycUclCnABk76Il4wPuqt4aH9Sv-HJfeyHyyAG_fv0phbBEKqhO-yf20TkfrKpbXfTDYCA3BArH7Y68vutKmyztDZE_OwEJ-zoQrGxcHguBRRhnOlTby1TayOlTdc34yQfEmqUaQYYsvU\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Garrison, D.
