I went so far as to buy the Premium theme&#8230; mainly because I&#8217;ve never tried such a thing, more than to access the Premium features <em>per se<\/em>&#8230; and for the &#8220;Forever&#8221; subscription for Theme Updates&#8230; all in all, about $70 US&#8230; it takes the form of a plugin which is uploaded to WP after paying for the theme&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Funny&#8221; story: one of the Premium features is &#8220;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/superbthemes.com\/how-to-change-font-on-your-wordpress-website\/\" target=\"_blank\">SuperbThemes Typography<\/a>&#8221; which requires the Easy Google Fonts plugin in order to work&#8230; so when I added the Premium theme, the theme overwrote the Google Fonts plugin which I had already added&#8230; not such a big deal? Perhaps&#8230; except that after much trial and error, I had added <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/fonts.google.com\/specimen\/Zen+Antique\" target=\"_blank\">Zen Antique<\/a> as the predominant font family across the site&#8230; which is included in Google Fonts&#8230; but not in<em> Easy Google Fonts<\/em>&#8230; so&#8230; I disabled the Easy Google Fonts plugin&#8230; went back into the customizer&#8230; went into the Google Fonts plugin&#8230; and re-established Zen Antique across all areas of the site&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a case where&#8230; apart from the lifetime updates&#8230; and being able to customize the copyright message on the footer&#8230; there aren&#8217;t really any Premium features which are needed for this&#8230; MINIMALIST theme&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All in all, a learning experience! If there are any features which you feel like this site could use&#8230; or if you have any hot WordPress tips, tricks, or recommendations&#8230; feel free to drop a comment below this post!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally&#8230; at Doug&#8217;s suggestion&#8230; given that we now have a potentially much wider audience for the audio for this pod&#8230; I&#8217;ve prepared two different versions&#8230; the video is pretty much as we&#8217;ve been doing since the beginning&#8230; however the audio is more concise with the intro and outro&#8230; by next episode, I expect we&#8217;ll have what will be recurring theme music for the audio version&#8230; and perhaps something of a &#8220;canned intro&#8221; in place&#8230; so the audio only audience will be able to make sense of what&#8217;s going on a bit better&#8230; particularly for those joining us for the first time&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OK&#8230; more tech details here than I necessarily intended!
